Date Night

dates don't have to be fancy. sometimes they're just watching a (DVD? VHS? whatever the kids use these days!) snuggling up in pajamas and eating junk food!

here, my still-not-finalized fursona eats strawberry ice cream (my favorite flavor!) while cuddled up with his girlfriend. the girlfriend is based on Starlight Glimmer as anyone who knows me should probably expect, but it's not actually her. she's just a random character i designed for the theme of this drawing. neither of them seems to notice that the ice cream suspiciously doesn't have a brand on it. the actual reason for this is, i was too lazy to try to add anything else to the container after i had already drawn Justice's leg over it, but i like to think the reason is that the ice cream is a ploy (same with the generic popcorn container), and like, at the bottom of the container is an ALIEN MONSTER THAT THEY'LL HAVE TO FIGHT TO SAVE THE WORLD, OH NOOOOOOOOOOO. but anyway, for the time being, this drawing is just some calm, relaxing escapism they get to enjoy.

Spaceship

a space scene that, imo, turned out really cool. while a lot of work did go into this, a surprising amount of what you see is just creatively-utilized default brushes in Autodesk Sketchbook.

Claw Machine

my yet-unnamed (and still not fully finalized) fursona at a claw machine full of, among other things, MLP plushies. he's trying to get the Starlight Glimmer plushie, but little does he realize, claw machines are rigged and the chances of him getting this plushie are negligible. he'd be better off playing that cool neon-blue skee ball thing behind him.

i spent a lot of time on the details here, especially on all the claw machine prizes.
